"Polzeath Sunset” - Original Oil Painting

Polzeath Sunset is a painting that captures a warm September evening at Polzeath Beach, Cornwall, just as the sun goes down and the sky comes alive in vivid oranges, yellows and reds. Purple clouds streak the sky providing dramatic contrast, while the silhouettes of Pentire Point and Newlands Rock stand out in inky black against all of it. I painted this in oils on canvas, and although it's a bold, vibrant piece, there's a real sense of calm in it too. 

It's a striking painting for a home - colourful without being loud, and full of that particular Polzeath magic. For someone with a connection to this stretch of the Cornish coast, it would make a very special gift.

ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING

This original seascape painting has been hand painted in professional grade oil paints on canvas by seascape artist Naomi Jenkin. 

The size of the canvas is 42cm x 29.7cm unframed, or 45.3 x 33.2cm framed in a white wooden tray frame. 

The artwork is hand signed on the front, and is titled and signed on the reverse by Naomi Jenkin.
