"Embrace" - Chimpanzee painting

This piece was awarded the Artist of the Year 100 award in the Sketch For Survival 2024 competition. The artwork was exhibited in the Sketch For Survival 2024 exhibitions in London and Edinburgh. The drawing was auctioned to raise funds for conservation charity Explorers Against Extinction with 100% of the sale price being donated to them. Although the original is now sold limited edition prints are still available, with 10% of profits also being donated to Explorers Against Extinction. 

Sketch for Survival is a fantastic initiative that brings together wildlife artists from across the globe to champion endangered species and ecosystems through art. Each year the event raises money for frontline conservation projects across the world. I couldn't be more thrilled to have been able to contribute towards the fantastic work they do. 

ORIGINAL PASTEL ARTWORK

‘Embrace’ aims to immediately captivate viewers, drawing them into an emotional narrative that highlights two crucial messages: the vulnerability of our wildlife and the urgent need to protect it.

This original chimpanzee painting has been hand crafted in chalk pastels on Pastelmat paper by wildlife artist Naomi Jenkin. The artwork has been drawn with a loving attention to detail bringing the emotion of this piece to the fore.

The size of the painting is A4 (29.7cm x 21cm).

The artwork is hand signed on the front, and is titled and signed on the reverse by Naomi Jenkin.

International shipping rates are calculated at the checkout. 

Your original chimpanzee painting will be shipped fully insured. 

Orders are normally dispatched within 2-3 working days. For UK orders, your artwork will be sent via a 24hr tracked courier service. International orders will be sent via international courier and delivery times will vary according to your destination. You will be sent a tracking link so that you can stay up to date with your delivery.

PROFESSIONAL FRAMING

This original chimpanzee painting comes unframed and unmounted as standard. I always include some useful information with the art to help you get it framed properly.

I also offer a professional framing service on request for an extra cost. I use an excellent framer who I’ve worked with for years, and his workmanship is second to none. I can have your framing tailored to your requirements, so that your original wildlife art is presented beautifully just how you’d like it! Please note: My professional framing service is ONLY available to clients who are able to collect their original art in person from my studio near Newquay, Cornwall, UK. This is because I can’t ship anything containing glass.
