I'm absolutely delighted to share some exciting news - my highland cow painting, "Bad Hair Day", has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious British Art Prize 2024! Being recognized alongside such talented artists in this celebrated competition is truly an honour, and I couldn’t be more excited.
The British Art Prize, organized by Artists & Illustrators magazine, is a highly respected national competition that showcases the best of contemporary British art across a range of media. The prize celebrates artistic talent and creativity, offering artists the chance to reach a wider audience and gain significant recognition.
The winners will be announced soon, but in the meantime, all finalist artworks -including Bad Hair Day - will be showcased in an exclusive exhibition at the Oxo Gallery in London. This event will take place from 4th to 8th December, and the exhibition will be open to the public. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see an incredible range of diverse artwork from some of the UK’s most talented artists. All the artworks will be available for purchase too, so if you’ve ever fancied adding an original highland cow with a quirky flair to your collection, now’s your chance!
If you’re in London or able to visit, please do drop by Oxo Gallery to see "Bad Hair Day" in person and enjoy the wonderful display of British artistic talent.
